STATE AUTHORITIES NON-CONTRIBUTORY
SUPERANNUATION ACT 1987—ORDER

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 27 of the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987, do, by this my Order, amend Schedule 1 to the Act (Employers), with effect on and from 1 January 1994, by inserting in Part l of that Schedule, after the reference to the University of Western Sydney, the following name:
Southern Cross University

EXPLANATORY NOTE EXPLANATORY
Under the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987 employers
within the meaning of the Act are required to make superannuation contributions in
respect of certain of their employees to the fund kept under that Act. Schedule 1 to the Act lists organisations and bodies that are employers for the purposes of the Act. Section 27 of the Act authorises the Governor-in-Council, by Order, to amend the Schedule. The purpose of this Order is to include in the Schedule as an employer the Southern Cross University.
