I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 27 of the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987, do, by this my Order, amend Part 1 of Schedule 1 to that Act (Employers), to take effect on and from the date proclaimed for the purposes of section 6 of the Fish Marketing Act 1994, by omitting the reference to the Fish Marketing Authority.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Order is to remove the Fish Marketing Authority from the list of employers contained in Schedule 1 to the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987, consequent on the privatisation of that Authority under the Fish Marketing Act 1994. That Authority will cease to be an employer for the purposes of the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987 on and from the date to be proclaimed as the sale date for that Authority under section 6 of the Fish Marketing Act 1994. Part 4AA of the State Authorities Non-contributory Superannuation Act 1987 will then operate in respect of employees of the Authority.
