An Act to amend the Standard Time Act, 1971, in its application to the period of summer time ending in 1982. [Assented to, 24th February, 1982.1

Standard Time (Amendment).

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lesislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows; —

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the “Standard Time (Amendment) Act,

1982”.

Extension of summer time in 1982.

Section 5 of the Standard Time Act, 1971, applies to and in respect of the period that commenced at 2.00 a.m. on Sunday, 25th October, 1981, as if the reference in subsection (1) of that section to the first Sunday in the month of March were a reference to 4th April, 1982.
