s1 2 s5 Standard Sewerage Amendment Law (No. 1) 2002 No. 169, 2002 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Standard Sewerage Amendment Law (No. 1) 2002 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 July 2002. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Standard Sewerage Law. 4 Amendment of s 3 (Purposes of law) (1) Section 3(a), ‘section 5 1 ’— omit, insert— ‘section 3 1 ’. (2) Section 3(b), ‘section 17A 2 ’— omit, insert— ‘section 23 2 ’. 5 Amendment of s 20 (Wastes to discharge to sewerage system) Section 20(3), definition “waste” — omit, insert— ‘ “waste” does not include a prohibited substance or trade waste under section 23 3 of the Act.’. 1 Section 3 (Standard Sewerage Law) of the Act 2 Section 23 (Prohibition on discharge of prohibited substances and trade waste) of the Act 3 Section 23 (Prohibition on discharge of prohibited substances and trade waste) of the Act

(2) Section 23(2), ‘section 17A(1)’— omit, insert— ‘section 23(1)’.
