AN ACT to amend the Land Transfer Duty Act.

[Assented to, 17th July, 1874.]

HEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Land Transfer

Duty Act; Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor

W

of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1 THE eighth section of the said Act of Council, 4th and 5th Victoria, No. 13, shall be read and construed as if the words " nor to any lands sold by public auction " were not contained therein.

In the name and on behalf of the Queen I hereby assent to

this Act.
