preliminary agreements made under Division 8 of Part IV of the
Conveyancing Act 1919. [Assented to 4 December 1987]

Stamp Duties (Sale of Land) Amendment 1987

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Stamp Duties (Sale of Land)

Amendment Act 1987.

Commencement

2. This Act commences when the Conveyancing (Sale of Land)

Amendment Act 1987 commences.

Amendment of Act No. 47, 1920
The Stamp Duties Act 1920 is amended by inserting in the Second Schedule at the end of the matter under the heading GENERAL EXEMPTIONS FROM STAMP DUTY UNDER PART III the following paragraph:

(33) A preliminary agreement under section 66Q of the Conveyancing

Act 1919.
