STAMP DUTIES (AMENDMENT) ACT.

purpose to amend the Stamp Duties Act, 1920-1952 ; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 20th April, 1954.]

"DE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, ■D by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Stamp Duties Short title and

(Amendment) Act, 1954” .	citation.
(2) The Stamp Duties Act, 1920, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Stamp Duties Act, 1920-1954.

2. The Stamp Duties Act, 1920-1952, is amended—
