An Act to amend the Stamp Act 1921.

[Assented to 12 December 2005]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Stamp Amendment (Taxing) Act 2005

s. 1

1.             Short title

This is the Stamp Amendment (Taxing) Act 2005.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the same day that section 6 of

the Stamp Amendment (Assessment) Act 2005 comes into

operation.

3.             The Act amended

The amendments in this Act are to the Stamp Act 1921*.

4.             Second Schedule amended

The Second Schedule item 16 is deleted and the following item

is inserted instead —

“

16.      POLICY OF INSURANCE

(1) A return under section 94 … See section 94A The insurer

(2) A statement under The person

”.

5.             Third Schedule amended

The Third Schedule item 8 is deleted.
