PROCLAMATION
WESTERN AUSTRALIA } By His Excellency Lieutenant General John Murray

I, the Governor, acting under item 3 of the Second Schedule to the Stamp Act 1921 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, declare as follows:
1. This proclamation commences on the day on which it is published in the Government Gazette.
2. The proclamation made under item 3 of the Second Schedule to the Stamp Act 1921 and published in the Government Gazette of 24 April 1980 is revoked.
3. The duty payable under item 3(1)(a) or (b) of the Second Schedule to the Stamp Act 1921 is 2/12 of a cent for every dollar and part of a dollar of the purchase price referred to in the respective subitem.
4. Despite clause 3, the duty payable in respect of the amount of the purchase money of any one animal, or any one carcass, whether sold singly or as part of a lot, must not exceed the sum of 20 cents.
