' B E it enacted by the King';.; Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- latiye Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- l. This Act may be cited as " TIle Stamp Act Amend- Short title ment Act of 1914," and shall be read as one with " Tlle~ ~ ! struction Starmp Act, 1894, " ~ herein referred to as the Principalof Act. Act. 2. (1.) In the First Schedule of the Principal Act, Ampndments the foll0'Ying provision is added to the exemptions under~ : ~~ : edule the headll1g "AGREEMENT, or any l\lEJ\WRANDUM of an Principal Act. AGREEMEN'l'," namely:- (3) Agreement, whether undel' hand only or by deed, made in pursuance of "The Workers'CompensationAct of 1905"t or any Act anwnding 01' in mbstitution for that Act. (2.) In the said Schedule, the following provision is added to the exemptions under the heading "POLICIES OF INSCRANCE," namely : - Polic:ies of insurance effecteJ relating to " The Workers' Oompen- wction Act of 1905"t or any Act amen ling or ill substitution ,r or that Act. * 58 Vie.
