AN ACT to amend the Stamp Act, 1921-1957.

[Assented to 10th December, 1959.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Stamp Act and citation.

(2) In this Act the Stamp Act, 1921-1957, is	Reprinted in
vol. 12 of the
Reprinted

referred to as the principal Act.

Commence-

ment. 2. This Act shall come into operation on a day

to be fixed by proclamation.

Second

Schedule 3. The Second Schedule to the principal Act is

amended. amended by

(a)	deleting the figures, "0 0 1" in the last line of paragraph (c) of the item headed, "BETTING TICKET";
(b)	adding to paragraph (c) of the item headed, "BETTING TICKET" the following sub- par agr aphs-

(i) where the consideration for

the bet recorded on the bet-

ting ticket does not exceed £1 0 0 1

(ii) where that consideration

exceeds £1 0 0 3
