1044 Stamp Act Amendment Act (No. 2) 1981, No. 102 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Stamp Act Amendment Act 1981 (No. 2). (2) In this Act the Stamp Act1894-1981 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Stamp Act1894-1981. 2. Commencement . (1) This Act, other than section 3, shall commence on the day on which it is assented to for and on behalf of Her Majesty. (2) Section 3 shall commence on 1 January 1982. 3. Amendment of First Schedule . The First Schedule of the Principal Act is amended by, under the heading " POLICIES OF INSURANCE (other than Policies of Life Assurance and Policies of Accident Insurance issued under the Workers' Compensation Act 1916-1973)", in the definition " net premium " in paragraph (g) of the proviso, inserting after the words " that policy " the words " but to the extent only that such amount or, as the case may be, rateably apportioned amount, exceeds 0.1 per centum of the sum insured under the policy to which it relates ".
