AN ACT to amend the Stamp Act, 1921-1944.
[Assented to 17th November, 1950.1
BE it enacted by the King's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Stamp Act short title.
Amendment Act, 1950, and shall be read as one with the Stamp Act, 1921-1944 (Act No. 10 of 1922 as reprinted with amendments to and including Act No. 39 of 1931 incorporated in the Appendix to the Sessional Volume of Statutes for the year 1933-1934 and further amended by Acts Nos. 35 of 1941, 40 of 1942 and 20 of 1944), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

sioner may from time to time require, to pay the duty payable in respect of cheques by separate periodical payments, and for denoting the duty payable on each cheque by the print- ing or stamping thereon of the amount of the duty.
