AN ACT to amend section eight of the Stallions Act,

1921.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-

Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Stallions Act Amend-

ment Act,1947, and shall be read as one with the Stallions

Act, 1921 (No. 17 of 1921), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Amendment	3.	Section eight of the principal Act is amended by

(a) inserting after the word "shall" in subsection (3), line five, the words "subject to the pro- viso to this subsection," and

(b) by adding after the word "certificate" in sub

section (3), line nine, the following:

Provided that where a life certificate has been issued in respect of a stallion nc further fee shall be payable under this sub- section in respect thereof.
