“O E it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with J J the advice and consent of tlic Legislative Council and Lt'gislativc Assembly of New South AVales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows ;—

1. This Act sliall come into operation oii the thirticdb day of

2. This Act shall not apply to licensed vdiicles plying wholly

within the metropolitan police district, nor to vehicles plying wholly

within any municipality or incorporated area.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Stage-carriages Act of 1891), a license may he issued on payment of the prescribed fee according to the form of the Schedule hereto, to be termed a general license, which shall be available' for use by the' person to whom and for the vehicle for which such li(!cus(; is issued on any public road Avithin the State, except as provided by section tAVO of this Act.

peace assemldlcd in potty sessions for the district of to grant to him a general license to authorise him to use the said stage-carriage on any jnihlic road in the State of I\evv South AVales, except such roads as are xvliolly within the metropolitan police district, or wholly within any munici])ality or incorporated area: And wliereas we the said justices, having had this day exhibited to us the said stage-carriage, and having examined the same and being satisfied that the said carriage is calculated safely and conveniently to carry the number of jiassengers liereinaftcr mentioned, do hereby, in pursuance of theauthorilv in us vested by the Stage-carriages Act of lS!)i) and the Stage-carriages Act Amendment Act of 190.3, authorise and license the said to carry and convey on any ]mblic road in the State of New South Wales, with the exceptions hereinbefore mentioned, the nuniher of passengers in and h}' the said stage-carriage, that is to say, the number of passengers in the inside and passengers on the outside thereof suhicct to the several regulations and iirovisions of the said Acts.
