MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 17 (1) of the Sporting Venues Authorities Act 2008, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to change the name of the Illawarra Region Sporting Venues Authority constituted under the Sporting Venues Authorities Act 2008 to the Illawarra Venues Authority.

This Order is made under section 17 (1) (c) of the Sporting Venues Authorities Act 2008.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Sporting Venues Authorities Amendment (Illawarra
Venues Authority) Order 2010.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Sporting Venues Authorities Act 2008 No 65

Schedule 1 Regional sporting venues authorities

Omit “Illawarra Region Sporting Venues Authority”.
Insert instead “Illawarra Venues Authority”.
