Spirits Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Spirits Act 1906.

Repeal of Part IIa

1. Part IIa of the Spirits Regulations is repealed.

Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Spirits Regulations is amended

(a) by omitting from Form 1 “Spirits Act 1906-1935” (first occurring) and substituting “Spirits Act 1906”;

(b) by omitting from Form 1—

“(  as defined by the Spirits Act 1906-1935),”;

(c) by omitting from Form 1—

“* Insert whether ‘Pure Australian Standard Brandy’, ‘Australian Blended Brandy’, ‘Australian Standard Malt Whisky’, ‘Australian Blended Whisky’, or ‘Australian Standard Rum’.

  see definition quoted on back hereof.”

and substituting—

“* Insert whether Australian Brandy, Australian Whisky or Australian Rum.”; and

(d) by omitting from Forms 2 to 6 (inclusive) “Spirits Act 1906-1923” (wherever occurring) and substituting “Spirits Act 1906”.
