Specialized Agencies (Privileges and

Immunities) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the International Organizations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1963.

Privileges and immunities of persons performing missions for a Specialized Agency

1. Regulation 9 of the Specialized Agencies (Privileges and Immunities) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (8) (g) “and”; and

(b) by adding at the end the following word and paragraph:

“and; (i) the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.”.

Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Specialized Agencies (Privileges and Immunities) Regulations is amended by omitting from Item 3 “Secretary-General of the Council” and substituting “Secretary-General”.
