3. The following new section is inserted after section Xews. 4.

any industrial undertaking, siudi amounts as inay bo dctermiiu'd by the Minister shall from time to time be carried to a Itescrve Account to ho ojiencd in the treasu ry under the heading of the under taking.
Such account shall he kc))t in the Special Deposits Account division in the public accounts, and shall he credited with interest at such rates and under such conditions as the Colonial Treasurer may determine.
Moneys at credit of such aeciount may ho with- <lr:iwii hy th(> manager for the purpose of mc'cting the cost of renewals, replacements, assurance, and liabilities for accidents, and siudi other liabilities properly incurred in ridaiion to the undertaking as may be determined by the Ministin-, hat for no other purpose, and thereupon the required amount may he issued under the authority of tlie said Treasurer.

for the amounts carrical to the Consedidated Pevenno F und and to tlie Peserve Account, in pursuance of sections 1 and I.A of this Act, may be applied in reduction of the capital cost of the undertaking.
