No. 11 of 1965.

AN ACT to amend the Spear-guns Control Act,

1955.

[Assented to 15th September, 1965.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Spear-guns aSnhg rcti ta

Control Act Amendment Act, 1965.

(2)

In this Act the Spear-guns Control Act, 1955,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Spear-guns Control Act, 1955-

2. Section three of the principal Act is amended

by substituting for the interpretation "Inspector"

the following interpretation

"Inspector" means any member of the Police Force of the State and any inspector of fisheries appointed under the Fisheries Act, 1905, and in the application of this Act in a prohibited area that comprises an area vested in or under the care, control and management of a council of a municipality constituted under the Local Government Act, 1960, includes any person appointed for that municipality as an inspector by or under that Act; .
