Southern Midlands Council Enterprise Agreement No. 8 of 2011.
[1] An application has been made for approval of an enterprise agreement known as the Southern Midlands Council Enterprise Agreement No. 8 of 2011 (the Agreement). The application was made pursuant to s.185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act). It has been made by Southern Midlands Council (the Applicant). The agreement is a single-enterprise agreement.
[2] The employer and the bargaining representative requested that the Application be dismissed due to an oversight in respect to the notice of representational rights which would prevent the agreement from being approved. The parties intend to complete the process in accordance with the Act and then resubmit the agreement for approval.
[3] The application is dismissed.
