I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Southern Cross University Act 1993, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 2 September 1994 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences the uncommenced provisions (section 10) of the Southern Cross University Act 1993. (The other provisions of the Act were commenced on 1 January 1994.) Section 10 provides for the composition of the Council of the Southern Cross University.
