2005/2006 SBT PROVISIONAL NATIONAL CATCH ALLOCATION DETERMINATION

I, Richard McLoughlin, delegate of the Australian Fisheries Management Authority, make the following Determination under subclause 17.4 of the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management Plan 1995

Citation

1.       This determination may be cited as the 2005/2006 SBT Provisional National Catch Allocation Determination.

Commencement

2.       This Determination commences on the day it is made.

Interpretation

3.       A term used in this Determination that is defined for the purposes of the Southern  Bluefin Tuna Management Plan 1995 has the same meaning in this determination as it has in that plan.

[Notes: 1. Terms defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 have the same meanings in this determination.

2. Terms defined in the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management Plan 1995 include “Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery”.]

Determination of Australia’s SBT Provisional National Catch Allocation

4.       Australia’s provisional national catch allocation for the season in the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery which commenced on 1 December 2005 and which will end on 30 November is 5,265,000 kilograms.
