The Australian Fisheries Management Authority makes the following determination in accordance with a decision made by the Commissioners under section 23 of the Fisheries Administration Act 1991.

1 Name
This instrument may be cited as the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery (Australia’s National Catch Allocation) Determination 2018.
2 Commencement
This instrument commences on 1 December 2018.
3 Revocation
This instrument is repealed on 1 December 2020.
4 Authority
This instrument is made pursuant to paragraph 17(6)(aa) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 under subsection 17.2 of the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management Plan 1995.
5 Definitions
A term used in this instrument that is defined for the purposes of the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management Plan 1995 (the Plan) has the same meaning in this instrument as it has in that Plan.
Note: Terms defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 have the same meanings in this instrument.
6 Determination of Australia’s national catch allocation
(1) Australia’s national catch allocation for the fishing season in the SBT Fishery that commences on 1 December 2018 and ends on 30 November 2019 is 6,165,000 kilograms.
(2) Australia’s national catch allocation for the fishing season in the SBT Fishery that commencies on 1 December 2019 and ends on 30 November 2020 is 6,165,000 kilograms.
