SOUTH-WEST TABLELANDS

WATER SUPPLY ACT.

Act No. G4, 1924.

An Act to sanction the construction of works of George V,

water supply for the towns of Cootainundra, M urrum burrah, Stockinbingal, Temora, Bar- medman, Wyalong, Young, and G renfe ll; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 23rd December, 1924.]

T Y E it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty,

JL) by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the South-west short title.

Tablelands Water Supply Act, 1924.”

2 . The carrying out of the works described in theworkt

Schedule to this Act is hereby sanctioned, and the Secretary for Public lYorks is empowered to carry out the said works.

3 . The cost of carrying out the said works, exclusivecoHt.

of land resumptions, is estimated at one million six hundred and sixty-four thousand pounds, and such estimated cost shall not, under any circumstances, be exceeded by more than ten per centum.

4 . The plan of the works is the plan m a r k e d th* plan.

“ South-west Tablelands IVater Supply,” signed by the Secretary for Public lYorks, and countersigned by the Chief Engineer for "Water Supply and Sewerage, and deposited in the public office of the said Secretary.
