South Australian Employment Tribunal (Miscellaneous) Amendment Act 2017

An Act to amend the South Australian Employment Tribunal Act 2014; and to make related amendments to various Acts.

The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1Preliminary1Short title

This Act may be cited as the South Australian Employment Tribunal (Miscellaneous) Amendment Act 2017.

2Commencement

This Act will come into operation on a day to be fixed by proclamation.

3Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2Amendment of South Australian Employment Tribunal Act 20144Amendment of section 45 – Pre‑hearing conferences

Section 45—after subsection (2) insert:

  1. (3)

    This section applies to and in relation to—

    1. (a)

      proceedings under the Return to Work Act 2014; and

    2. (b)

      any other proceedings prescribed by the regulations.

Schedule 1—Related amendments

Part 1—Amendment of Education Act 1972

1—Amendment of section 54—Appointment and selection of supplementary panel members for reviews

Section 54(2)—delete "Division" and substitute:
