South Australian Employment Tribunal (Costs) Amendment Act 2021

An Act to amend the South Australian Employment Tribunal Act 2014.

The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1Preliminary1Short title

This Act may be cited as the South Australian Employment Tribunal (Costs) Amendment Act 2021.

2Commencement

This Act will be taken to have come into operation on 1 July 2017.

3Amendment provisions

In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.

Part 2Amendment of South Australian Employment Tribunal Act 2014

4Amendment of section 6A—Conferral of jurisdiction – criminal matters

Section 6A(4)—after "Summary Procedure Act 1921" insert:

(including the provisions of that Act allowing an award of costs for or against a party to criminal proceedings)
