1.           Name of determination

This determination is the Social Security (Personal Care Support – Commonwealth Continuity of Support (CoS) Programme – Direct Funding Individual Support Packages) Determination 2017.

2.           Commencement.

(1)Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3.           Personal care support scheme

(1)   The scheme for the provision of personal care support known as the Commonwealth Continuity of Support (CoS) Programme – Direct Funding Individual Support Packages is an approved scheme for the purposes of section 35A of the Social Security Act 1991.

(2)   In this determination, the Commonwealth Continuity of Support Programme – Direct Funding Individual Support Packages means the Direct Funding Model under the Individual Support Packages sub-programme which operates under the Commonwealth Continuity of Support (CoS) Programme.
