I, Kay Christine Lesley Patterson, Minister for Family and Community Services, make the following determination under subsection 202(3) of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.

Name of determination

1.         This determination may be cited as the Social Security (Household Organisational Management Expenses (HOME) Advice Program) Determination 2004.

Commencement

2.         This determination takes effect at the end of the period in which it could be disallowed in either House of the Parliament.

Definitions

3.         In this Determination:

Act means the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.

HOME Advice Program means the Household Organisational Management Expenses (HOME) Advice Program.

protected information has the meaning given by subsection 23(1) of the Social Security Act 1991.

Purpose

4.         This determination specifies that the purposes of the HOME Advice Program are purposes for which protected information may be obtained under subsection 202(1), or recorded, disclosed or otherwise used under subsection 202(2) of the Act.
