Social Security (Exempt Lump Sum) (South Australian River Murray Sustainability Irrigation Industry Improvement Program) (Agriculture) Determination 2015

I, Phillip Glyde, Acting Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, make the following determination under paragraph 8 (11) (d) of the Social Security Act 1991, as notionally modified by Part 5 of the Farm Household Support Act 2014.

1          Name of determination

This determination is the Social Security (Exempt Lump Sum) (South Australian River Murray Sustainability Irrigation Industry Improvement Program) (Agriculture) Determination 2015.

2          Commencement

This determination commences on 1 July 2014.

3          Exempt Lump Sums

(1) For paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991, as applied and modified by Part 5 of the Farm Household Support Act 2014, a payment made under the South Australian River Murray Sustainability Irrigation Industry Improvement Program is an exempt lump sum.

(2)       For subsection (1), the South Australian River Murray Sustainability Irrigation Industry Improvement Program is a program that is known as the:

(a)       Irrigation Industry Improvement Program that is funded jointly by the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Environment and administered by Primary Industries and Regions South Australia on behalf of the South Australian Government.
