This Determination is the Social Security (Exempt Lump Sum) (Murray-Darling Basin Small Block Irrigators Exit Grant) (DEEWR) Determination 2008 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.

3              Exempt lump sum

(1) For paragraph 8 (11) (d) of the Social Security Act 1991, a Murray-Darling Small Block Irrigators Exit Grant is an exempt lump sum.

(2)   For subsection (1), a Murray-Darling Small Block Irrigators Exit Grant is a grant of that name provided under the program known as the Murray-Darling Basin Small Block Irrigators Exit Grant Package, administered jointly by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.
