Social Security Act 1991
I, Ian Joyce, Acting Branch Manager, Seniors and Means Test Branch and a delegate of the Secretary of the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, make this Determination under paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991.[1]
[1] This Determination has effect in relation to provisions of the Social Security Act 1991 in so far as they relate to matters for which the Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs has responsibility under the Administrative Arrangements Order.

This Determination is the Social Security (Exempt Lump Sum) (Farm Exit Support Grants) (FaHCSIA) Determination 2010
2 Commencement
This Determination commences the day after it is registered.
3 Exempt Lump Sums
(1) For paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991, a Farm Exit Support Grant is an exempt lump sum.
(2)For subsection (1), a Farm Exit Support Grant is a grant that is known as the:
(a)Farm Exit Support Grant, but only to a maximum of $150,000; or
(b)Farm Exit Support Advice and Re-training Grant, but only to a maximum of $10,000; or
(c)Farm Exit Support Relocation Grant, but only to a maximum of $10,000;
that is provided under the program known as Farm Exit Support, administered by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
