Social Security Exempt Lump Sum Determination No. 2 of 2004 (FACS)

5   Definitions

In this instrument:

Act means the Social Security Act 1991.

comparable foreign payment has the same meaning as under section 1228A of the Act.

6                      Exempt Lump Sums

For the purposes of paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Act the payment of an amount of arrears of a comparable foreign payment is an exempt lump sum.
