I, Kay Christine Lesley Patterson, Minister for Family and Community Services, make the following determination under section 35A of the Social Security Act 1991.

Part 1        Preliminary

Determination

1. This determination may be cited as the Social Security (Disability Services Queensland Personal Care Support) Determination No.1 2004.

Interpretation

2.   In this determination:

Act means the Social Security Act 1991

Commencement

3.   This determination commences on the date it is signed.

Part 2        Approved Scheme

Application

4. The provision of a grant of financial assistance in respect of personal care support under the Disability Services Act 1992 (Qld) is an approved scheme for the purposes of section 35A of the Act.
