1  Name

This instrument is the Social Security (Crisis Payment - Qualifying Humanitarian Visas) Determination 2018.

2  Commencement

(1)Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Revocation

The Social Security (Crisis Payment - Qualifying Humanitarian Visas) Determination 2007 (No.1) is revoked.

4  Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 1061JI(2) of the Social Security Act 1991.

5  Class of visas

For the purposes of paragraph 1061JI(1)(b) of the Social Security Act 1991 the qualifying humanitarian visas are:

(a)  Subclass 200 (Refugee);

(b)  Subclass 201 (In-country Special Humanitarian);

(c)  Subclass 202 (Global Special Humanitarian);

(d)  Subclass 203 (Emergency Rescue); and

(e)  Subclass 204 (Woman at Risk).
