1 Name
This instrument is the Social Security (Coronavirus Economic Response—2020 Measures No. 6) Determination 2020.
3 Authority
This instrument is made under subsection 1210B(2) of the Social Security Act 1991.
4 COVID‑19 supplement—widow allowance, partner allowance and special benefit
(1) For the purposes of paragraph 1210B(1)(b) of the Social Security Act 1991, widow allowance, partner allowance and special benefit are determined.
(2) For the purposes of paragraph 1210B(1)(c) of the Social Security Act 1991, the period is the period:
(a) beginning on 19 December 2020; and
(b) ending at the end of 31 December 2020.
(3) For the purposes of paragraph 1210B(1)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991, the fortnightly amount of a person’s COVID‑19 supplement for the period is $250 for an instalment period in relation to the person that begins on or after 19 December 2020 and before the end of 31 December 2020.
