1          Name of Specification

This Specification is the Social Security (Administration) (Deductible portion — section 123XPA) Specification 2008.

2          Commencement

This Specification commences on the day after it is registered.

3          Definitions

In this Specification:

Act means the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.

Note 1   Baby bonus is defined in subsection 3(1) of the Family Assistance Act and has the same meaning in this Specification as in that Act.

Note 2   Family Assistance Act is defined in subsection 23(1) of the Social Security Act 1991 and has the same meaning in this Specification as in that Act.

4          Deductible portion

For paragraph 123XPA(3)(b) of the Act, the higher percentage of 100% is specified as the deductible portion of an instalment of baby bonus under the Family Assistance Act.
