I, JENNY MACKLIN, Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, acting under section 123TFA of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999 and on behalf of the Minister for Education and the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, make this Determination.

1. Name of Determination

This Determination is the Social Security (Administration) (Declared income management areas) Determination 2010.

1. Commencement

This Determination commences as follows:

(a)on 9 August 2010 ― sections 1 to 4 and Schedule 1;

(b)on 30 August 2010 ― section 5 and Schedule 2;

(c)on 20 September 2010 ― section 6 and Schedule 3;

(d)on 4 October 2010 ― section 7 and Schedule 4.

1. Definition

In this Determination:

local government area has the same meaning as in the Local Government Act (NT), and includes municipalities and shires.

1. Declared income management area ― 9 August 2010

The local government area that is listed in Schedule 1 to this Determination is a declared income management area for the purposes of Part 3B of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.

1. Declared income management areas ― 30 August 2010

A local government area that is listed in Schedule 2 to this Determination is a declared income management area for the purposes of Part 3B of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.

1. Declared income management areas ― 20 September 2010

A local government area that is listed in Schedule 3 to this Determination is a declared income management area for the purposes of Part 3B of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.

1. Declared income management areas ― 4 October 2010

The area that is listed in Schedule 4 to this Determination is a declared income management area for the purposes of Part 3B of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.
