Act No. 81, 1976.

An Act to amend section 17 of the Soccer Football Pools Act, 1975, to alter the name of the Fund estabhshed under that section and to increase the amount of duty and additional duty payable to the credit of that Fund. [Assented to, 2nd December, 1976.1

]D E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by

and with the advice and consent of the Legislative

Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as

follows:—

1.           This Act may be cited as the “Soccer Football Pools Short title.

(Amendment) Act, 1976”.

2. (1) This section and section 1 shall commence on Commence-

the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 shall commence on 1st January, 1977.

3. The Soceer Football Pools Act, 1975, is amended— Amendment	of Act No.
45, 1975.

(a)	by omitting from section 17 (1) and (4) the words Sec. 17. “Sports and Recreation Fund” wherever occurring j^^^fion and by inserting instead the words “Sport and Fund.) Recreation Fund”;
(b)	by omitting section 17 (2) and by inserting instead the following subsection :—

(2) There shall be paid to the eredit of the Sport and Recreation Fund two-thirds of the amount of the duty and additional duty paid to the Minister under this Act.
