Regulations2 (Amendment)

1, T H E GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Power Act 1949.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on 28

November 1979.

2. After regulation 3 of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Power

Authorised Version C2004L01788 registered 28/12/2022

Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Liability to pay-roll tax

"4. Sub-section 30B (2) of the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Power

Act 1949 does not apply in relation to taxation under the Pay-roll Tax Act, 1971 of the State of New South Wales as amended and in force from time to time.".
