An Act to farther amend the provisions of the

“ Small Debts A ct” 10 Victoria No. 10,	—
[VUh June, 1880.]

TTTIIEE/EAS it is expedient to further amend an Act passed in the Preamble.

V V tenth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria intituled

‘‘A n A ct to amend the Law respecting the Recovery o f Small Debts in all parts o f the Colony'" Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty hy and with the advice and consent of the Legislative CouncU and Legislative Assembly of New South M^ales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

1. I t shall he laivful for the Governor with the advice of the Power to Executive Executive Council to define by proclamation in the Gazette the limits s°ons*i)fsnictJfOT of any Petty Sessions District for the purposes of the Act tenth Victoria

number ten and the Acts amending the same and after any such pro-	®	®	•
clamation shall be published in the Gazette the provisions of the said Acts shall he in force and the jurisdiction and other powers thereby conferred shall be exercisable within the limits of any Petty Sessions District so defined as aforesaid.

2. The notifications contained in the Gazette dated thirty-first As to Newtown October one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine purporting to District!̂ ^̂ ”̂ * declare and define the boundaries of the Petty Sessions or Court to he

holden at NewtoAvn shall he deemed to have defined the Petty Sessions District therein described as fully and efPectually to all intents and purposes as if the same had been proclaimed under this Act.

3. The Governor with the advice oi' the Executive Council shall Rules may be

have power to frame from time to time rules to he in force in the several	'
districts for the carrying out of the provisions of the Act tenth Victoria number ten and to repeal any existing rules therein and such rules so framed shall have the same force and effect as if they formed part of the said Act.

4. This Act may be cited for all purposes as the “ Small Debts Short title.
