Small Claims Tribunals (Fees) Regulations 1997

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase
the fee payable in respect of a claim lodged with a

Small Claims Tribunal.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under section 40 of the Small Claims Tribunals Act 1973.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on

1 January 1998.

4. Increase in fees

In regulation 7(1) of the Small Claims Tribunals
Regulations 19921 for "$10.00" substitute

"$25.00".
