Small Business Development Corporation Act Amendment Act 1986, No. 52 779 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty. by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short Title and Citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Small Business Development Corporation Act Amendment Act 1986. (2) In this Act the Small Business Development Corporation Act1980-1983 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Small Business Development Corporation Act 1980-1986. 2. Amendment of s. 2 . Interpretation . Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the definition "Industries Assistance Board". 3. Amendment of s. 12. Functions of Corporation . Section 12 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting at the end of paragraph (e) the following expression and paragraph:- 11 (ea) to act as agent of the Queensland Industry Development Corporation (the corporation constituted under the Queensland Industry Development Corporation Act 1985) in accordance with arrangements entered into between the Corporation and the Queensland Industry Development Corporation for the purpose of providing financial assistance to such small businesses or class of small businesses as are specified in those arrangements or, if there is no such specification, to such small businesses or class of small businesses as the Corporation deems fit". 4. Amendment of s. 15 . Meetings . Section 15 of the Principal Act is amended by, in the second paragraph of subsection (3). omitting the words "executive director" and substituting the word "manager". 5. Repeal of ss. 31-31G. The Principal Act is amended by repealing sections 31 to 31G both inclusive.
