AN ACT to prevent the Slaughter of Female Calves.

[Assented to 11th November, 1919.]

B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

the same, as follows :—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Slaughter of Calves Short tit/e.

Restriction Act, 1919.

2. In this Act-

Interpretation.

" Chief Inspector " means the Chief Inspector of Stock

appointed under the Stock Diseases Act, 1895 :

" District" means a district constituted under this

Act.

3. The Governor may, by Order in Council—

Districts.

(a) constitute any defined portion of the State a district for the purposes of this Act, and specify the boundaries of any such district ;

(b) alter the boundaries of a district ;

(c) abolish any district.

4. No person shall, within any district, slaughter any
