AN ACT to amend the Skeleton Weed (Eradication

Fund) Act, 1974.

[Assented to 4th November, 1976.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent-" Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1: (1) This Act may be cited as the Skeleton	and
Short title

Weed (Eradication Fund) Act Amendment Act, 1976.	citation.
Act No. 78

(2) In this Act the Skeleton Weed (Eradication of 1974.

Fund) Act, 1974, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Skeleton Weed (Eradication

Fund) Act, 1974-1976.

Section 9

amended. 2. Section 9 of the principal Act is amended

(a)	by substituting for the passage "or the crop year 1975-1976" in lines seven and eight of subsection (2), the passage "or in respect of any subsequent crop year up to and including the crop year 1978-1979";
(b)	by deleting from line four of paragraph (b) of subsection (5), the word "and";
(c)	by substituting for the passage "1975- 1976," in line four of paragraph (c) of subsection (5) the passage "1975-1976;" ; and
(d)	by adding after paragraph (c) of subsection (5) the following paragraphs

(d)	delivered during the period of twelve months ending the thirty- first day of October, 1977 shall be deemed to have been grown during the crop year 1976-1977;
(e)	delivered during the period of twelve months ending the thirty- first day of October, 1978 shall be deemed to have been grown during the crop year 1977-1978; and
(f)	delivered during the period of twelve months ending the thirty- first day of October, 1979 shall be deemed to have been grown during the crop year 1978-1979, .

Section 10

amended.	3. Section 10 of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the passage "or the crop year 1975- 1976" in lines one and two of paragraph (b), the passage "or in respect of any subsequent crop year up to and including the crop year 1978-1979".
Section 18
amended.	4. Section 18 of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the passage "1975-1976" in line two of subsection (1), the passage "1978-1979".
