(ERADICATION FUNDS) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1996

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Skeleton Weed and Resistant

Grain Insects (Eradication .Funds) Amendment Regulations 1996.

Principal regulations

2. In these regulations the Skeleton Weed and Resistant Grain Insects (Eradication Funds) Regulations 1982* are referred to as the principal regulations.

Citation amended

3. Regulation 1 of theprincipal regulations is amended by deleting "Skeleton Weed and Resistant Grain Insects" and substituting the following -

Plant Pests and Diseases ".

Regulation 2 amended

4. Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended -

(a) by deleting "and" after paragraph (b); and
(b) by deleting paragraph (c) and substituting the following
paragraphs -
"
(c) cultivars of -
Brassica napus (Canola);
Dactylis glomerata (Cocksfoot);

Ehrharta calycina (Perennial veldt grass);
Lupinus albus (White lupin);
Lupinus angustifolius (Narrowleaf lupin);
Medicago littoralis (Strand medic);

Medicago polymorpha (Burr medic);

Medicago sativa (Lucerne);

Medicago tornata (Disc medic);

Medicago truncatula (Barrel medic);

Ornithopus compressus(Serradella);

Phalaris squatica (Phalaris);

Pisum sativum (Field pea);

Trifolium fragiferum (Strawberry clover);

Trifolium repens (White clover);
Trifolium hirtum (Rose clover);
Trifolium subterraneurn (Subterranean clover);
Vicicz benghalensis (Purple vetch); and
I Triticosecale spp. (Triticale),

for which certification schemes are available under

regulation 14 (1) of the Seeds Regulations 1982; and

(d) cultivars of -

Cicer arietinum (Chick peas); and

Vicia faba oar. minor (Faba beans),

produced in that part of the State south of the

26th parallel of south latitude. "
