Singleton Local Environmental Plan 1996 (Amendment

No 36)

under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979

1      Name of plan

This plan is Singleton Local Environmental Plan 1996 (Amendment

No 36).

2      Aims of plan

This plan aims:

(a)

to rezone part of the land to which this plan applies to partly Zone 4 (the Industrial Zone) and partly Zone 7 (the Environment Protection Zone) under Singleton Local Environmental Plan 1996 in order to facilitate industrial development and protect areas of environmental and archaeological significance, and

(b)

to prohibit certain industrial development on part of the land within Zone 4 in order to minimise the impact of development on the amenity of nearby residences, and

(c)

to prohibit certain industrial development on part of the land within Zone 4 in order to minimise the impact of bushfire on future industrial development, and

(d)

to allow, with the consent of Singleton Shire Council, the erection of a dwelling on part of the land.

3      Land to which plan applies

This plan applies to Lots 7–11, DP 253172, New England Highway, Singleton, as shown edged heavy black and lettered “4” or “7” on the map marked “Singleton Local Environmental Plan 1996 (Amendment No 36)” deposited in the office of Singleton Shire Council.

4 Amendment of Singleton Local Environmental Plan 1996

Singleton Local Environmental Plan 1996 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.

Land being so much of Lots 7 and 8, DP 253172, New England Highway, Singleton, as is shown cross-hatched and lettered “7” on the map marked “Singleton Local Environmental Plan 1996 (Amendment No 36)”—the erection of a single dwelling on a single lot created by the consolidation of Lots 7 and 8, DP 253172.
