| Preamble, | "ITTHEUEAS it is desirable to amend the “ Silverton Tramwaj’: Act of V V 1886.” Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent |
| Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South lYales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows (that is to say) :— |
| Short title. | 1. This Act may for all purposes be cited as the “ Silverton Tramway Amending Act,” and shall be deemed to be incorporated with and construed as part of the “ Silverton Tramway Act of 1886.” |

| struction of Silverton | 2. I t shall be deemed to have been lawful for the parties authorized to make and construct a tramway under the “ Silverton Tramway Act of 1886,” to construct the said tramway not only as therein authorized, but also along Sturt-street, in the town of Silverton, |

| Deviation of Silver- | |
| ton tramway-line. | 3. In the construction of the said tramway, it shall be lawful to deviate from the line of tramway described in the Schedule to the “ Silverton Tramway Act of 1886,” and as herein amended, on either side thereof at any part thereof to a distance not exceeding one mile, but not to any greater distance; and in consequence of such deviation, the said tramway-line may be increased in length to an extent of not more than one-tenth of the entire length of such tramway-line, as described in the said Schedule. This section shall be deemed to have been originally contained in the said “ Silverton Tramway Act of 1886,” and the said Act shall be read accordingly. |
