Application for approval of the Sikorsky Aircraft Australia Limited Enterprise Agreement 2025

1. Sikorsky Aircraft Australia Ltd has applied for approval of a single enterprise agreement known as the Sikorsky Aircraft Australia Limited Enterprise Agreement 2025 (the Agreement).

1. On the papers and having regard to the Statement of Principles,[1] I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss.186, 187 and 188 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act) as are relevant to this application for approval have been met.

1. The Agreement is approved and will operate from 2 April 2025.

1. The Agreement covers the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union.

1. Clause 3 of the Agreement is varied under section 218A of the Act to correct an obvious error in the nominal expiry date by replacing “31 December 2024” with “31 December 2027”. It follows that the nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 31 December 2027.
