of the Federal Executive Council and pursuant to section 4 of the

(a) by inserting in sub-regulation (1) “, or sub-section 22a (1), (2) or (6),”after “(6)”;
(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “under sub-section 22 (1) of the Act” and substituting “by a proper officer under sub-section 22 (1) of the Act or by the Registrar under sub-section 22a (1) or (2) of the Act”;
(c) by inserting in paragraph (2) (a) “or the Registrar, as the case requires,” after “officer”;
(d) by omitting sub-paragraph (2) (a) (xv) and substituting the following sub-paragraph:
“(xv) details of any application, being an application for the registration of the ship under section 15 of the Act, that has been lodged in accordance with regulation 7; and”; and

(e) by inserting in paragraph (2) (b) “or the Registrar, as the case requires” after “officer”.
(a) by omitting from Form 3 the heading “CERTIFICATION” and substituting “CERTIFICATE”; and
(b) by omitting from Form 3 all the words from and including “W
here the certificate is granted by a proper officer ” and substituting—“I, [
name ] , grant this provisional registration certificate in respect of the ship particulars of which are set out above under theShipping Registration Act 1981 to [name, address and nationality of owner ]. Granted at on 19 .
